Steel sheet S 275NL DIN EN 10025-3
Steel sheet, grade S 275NL, produced in accordance with European standard 10025-3, is a hot rolled normalized fine grain steel normal quality.
Normalization of steel is carried out when it is heated, during rolling, up to 900 degrees, with further exposure, at the same temperature, and natural cooling.
This contributes to the formation of a finer-grained and homogeneous structure, as well as improving mechanical properties, eliminating internal stresses and imparting special hardness to the metal.
Special properties
For this grade, the price of sheet iron fully corresponds to its characteristics, determined by:
– yield strength of 275 megapascals, at ambient temperature;
– the minimum impact strength, reaching 27 joules, at a temperature -50 degrees;
– density 7.85 grams per cubic centimeter;
– good weldability, both with and without heating .
Fields of application
Sheet metal can be bought for further production of profiled products used as elements of various welded structures in industrial and civil engineering.
