Steel sheet A/SA 387 Gr. 22Cl. 2
Hard plate A/SA 387 Gr. 22Cl. 2 is made from alloyed chrome-molybdenum steel. This type of metal sheet can be bought for use in the manufacture of containers and pipes capable of withstanding high and very high temperatures, with minimal aging, after a significant period of intensive use.
Special properties
Steel sheet A/SA 387 Gr. 22Cl. 2 is distinguished by:
– significant resistance to corrosion manifestations;
– ability to work in conditions of sufficiently low and very high temperatures, which can reach 595 degrees, while maintaining all properties;
– good weldability, without any restrictions;
– high level of tensile strength 515-690 megapascals;
– minimum yield strength, at the level of 310 megapascals;
– minimum elongation of 18%;
– density level 7.85 grams per cubic centimeter.
Main applications
Due to its unique characteristics, it is possible to buy alloyed sheet for the production of boiler equipment and other heat-resistant containers operating under high pressure, as well as pipes used to form pipelines used to transport hot liquids.
