Tungsten

Tungsten is a lustrous, light gray metal. It is the most refractory, and also one of the hardest and heaviest, among all known.

Special properties

Tungsten metal has a melting point of 3422 degrees and a boiling point of 5555 degrees. At a temperature of 1600 degrees, it can be forged and drawn into a thread.

Pure metal density is 19.25 grams per cubic centimeter , and the Brinell hardness is 488 kilograms per square millimeter.

Tungsten is endowed with paramagnetic properties, determined by magnetic susceptibility at level 0 ,32×10-9.

The price of tungsten is fully consistent with its unique properties widely used in many manufacturing industries.
