S700MC Cold Formed Steel

High-strength hot rolled steel sheet, S700MC grades, is supplied in accordance with European standard EN10149-2. Steels are intended for cold stamping of the necessary parts. Alloyed with silicon, manganese, titanium and vanadium. Hot-dip galvanizing is possible.

Special properties

The material is characterized by good weldability, without heating and further heat treatment. In addition, steel grade S700MC stands out for:

– High thickness accuracy, similar to cold-rolled steel.

– High yield strength .

– Good impact strength, at temperatures up to -40 degrees.

– Significant strength and wear resistance.

Applications

Sheet metal stamping, grades S700MC, is used in the production of various vehicles, custom-shaped special equipment, manipulators, telescopic and articulated booms for crane equipment, containers, containers for cargoes of various consistencies, road tanks and other similar structures.
