AISI 321 steel / EN 1.4541 / 08Х18Н10Т
\n AISI 321 corrosion-resistant steel contains chromium and nickel additives, as well as titanium. Refers to the type of non-hardening austenitic alloys of non-magnetic type. Domestic analogue according to GOST – 08x18n10t.
\n Features
\n Heat-resistant steel is annealed at temperatures up to 1200 °C. After annealing, rapid cooling (water, oil) is required. Annealing procedures are carried out in the range from 450 to 800 °C, while it is necessary to monitor the appearance of the first signs of intergranular corrosion processes.
\n Forging begins at a maximum temperature of 1200 °C and ends at 940 °C. At the same time, it is necessary to monitor the gradual decrease in temperature (not sharp) in order to ensure uniform carbon distribution in the mass of the ingot.
\n AISI 321 is steel, the price of which is very affordable in our company. Its weldability is somewhat worse than that of analogues, due to the presence of titanium in the composition of the alloy.
\n Application
\n This alloy is quite in demand in industry, it is used to produce elements of welded equipment, heat exchangers, chimneys , electrodes of automobile spark plugs. In addition, steel is in demand in such industries as:
\n • chemical industry;
\n • food and medical industry;
\n • aircraft industry;
\n • automotive industry ;
\n • shipbuilding and so on.
\n You can always buy steel at the most affordable price in our catalog.
