Steel sheet S 275NL DIN EN 10025-3
Steel sheet, grade S 275NL, produced according to European standard 10025-3, is a hot-rolled normalized fine-grained steel of ordinary quality.
Steel is normalized when it is heated, during rolling, up to 900 degrees, with further exposure, at the same temperature, and natural cooling.
This contributes to the formation of a finer-grained and homogeneous structure, as well as improving mechanical properties, eliminating internal stresses and imparting special hardness to the metal.
Special Properties
For this brand of sheet metal, the price is fully consistent with its characteristics, determined by:
– yield strength 275 megapascals, at ambient temperature;
– the minimum impact strength, reaching 27 joules, at a temperature of -50 degrees;
– with a density of 7.85 grams per cubic centimeter;
– good weldability, both with and without heating.
Areas of application
Sheet metal can be bought for further production of shaped rolled products used as elements of various welded structures in industrial and civil construction.
