Steel sheet S 235 JR C+N DIN EN 10025-2
Sheet steel, grade S 235 JR C+N, produced in accordance with European standard 10025-2, is an unalloyed low-carbon structural steel supplied after normalizing rolling (+N). The metal sheet of this brand can be used for cold stamping. One of the most common structural steels.
Main properties
Sheet steel, grade S 235 JR C+N, is characterized by:
– minimum yield strength of 235 megapascals at ambient temperature;
– stability to destruction. The steel sheet is able to withstand impacts, with a force of up to 27 joules, at a temperature of +20 degrees;
– density of 7.86 grams per cubic centimeter;
– good weldability. It is possible to perform welding without heating and does not require subsequent heat treatment.
Supplied in sheets, from 3000 to 27000 millimeters long, from 1500 to 4020 millimeters wide and from 8 to 300 millimeters thick.
Applications
Sheet metal S 235 JR C+N is used for the manufacture of building structures for residential and industrial facilities, power line support elements and engineering structures, machine parts.
