Sheet steel 30ХГСА
Л alloyed steel 30KhGSA, unlike conventional structural grades, has higher strength and impact resistance.
Steel includes:
– Chromium that improves hardenability and abrasion resistance.
– Carbon that increases hardness but reduces weldability and ductility.
– Manganese, which improves surface quality, reducing the risk of cracks and scale.
– Silicon that increases susceptibility to heat treatment.
Special Properties
30KhGSA alloy steel has a melting point of 1500 degrees. It is distinguished by a rather high yield strength, at the level of 850 megapascals, as well as significant resistance to shock loads. The material is completely destroyed when exposed to 980 megapascals. The hardness of steel is determined from 45 to 50 points on the Rockwell scale. The mechanical properties of 30HGSA remain unchanged, up to +400 degrees.
The material is less resistant to corrosion than other steel grades. To solve the problem, chrome and zinc plating are used.
Applications
30HGSA is widely used in construction, mechanical engineering, aircraft and machine tool building, for the manufacture of fasteners, shafts, flanges, gears and other products operating under variable loads.
