Boiler sheet steel 13CrMo4-5 / 1.7335 / 15ХМ
According to its characteristics, boiler steel grade 13CrMo4 -5 complies with European standards EN10028-2. Unalloyed and alloyed materials are supplied as flat products designed for high pressure, elevated temperature applications.
The properties of steel are determined by the content of silicon, copper, nickel and molybdenum in it. At the same time, their total share should not exceed 70%.
Special properties
Heat-resistant steel grades 13CrMo4-5 , are characterized by minimal yield strength, the ability to work at elevated temperatures, the level of which can reach 450 degrees.
Normalization of the structure occurs at a temperature of 890-950 degrees. Forging is performed within the range from 1260 to 750 degrees.
The material has no restrictions on weldability. It is possible to use manual arc, automatic arc, performed under a flux and in a protective gas environment, and electroslag welding.
Applications
EN10028-2 is used in the production of various tanks, heat exchangers, boilers. At the same time, the affordable price for the boiler pipe, as well as for other elements made of this steel, ensures its considerable popularity.
