Inconel 617 / 2.4663 / KhN56MVKYU
Heat-resistant stainless steel is the most important raw material for modern industrial production. This material is most widely used in those areas where it is required to maintain material parameters at extreme temperatures, humidity, pressure.
Heat-resistant metal from the INCONEL 617 family is quite widely in demand. It is an alloy composed of elements such as nickel and chromium, to which cobalt and molybdenum have been added to improve performance.
Features
Heat-resistant metals based on this alloy have properties such as:
· highest strength;
· wear resistance;
Corrosion resistance;
Maintaining performance over a wide temperature range.
Metal perfectly tolerates the destructive effects of aggressive environments, including atmospheres saturated with acid or alkaline vapors. Alloy products are easy to process and can be welded by various welding methods.
The closest domestic analogue is KhN56MVKYU steel (complies with the requirements of GOST 5632-2014).
Applications
Excellent strength and resistance to corrosion at high temperatures have made it possible to use the alloy as the main material in the production of modern gas turbines and aircraft engines.
Parts of this steel grade are often used in the chemical industry: in particular, devices and equipment for the production of hydrochloric, nitric and sulfuric acids are made from them.
