Special qualities
The steel grader classifies the material as a super alloy, confirming its high performance properties. They are provided by an optimal combination of different metals that make up the steel, where:
– Nickel prevents cracking, being resistant to ion-chloride destruction.
– Chromium provides resistance to oxidizing agents, including nitrate and nitrate ones.
– Molybdenum resists crevice electrical corrosion.
– Titanium prevents intergranular corrosion damage.
– Nickel, copper and molybdenum also contribute to resistance to sulfuric and phosphoric acid.
