Incoloy 800HT / 1.4959 / ХН32Т
Incoloy 800HT alloy belongs to heat-resistant steels, characterized by significant strength, thermal resistance to oxidation, carburization and other types of high-temperature corrosion manifestations.
The composition of the alloy is dominated by nickel, iron and chromium.
Special properties of the alloy
Incoloy 800HT heat-resistant steel can be welded by any conventional method.
A significant proportion of chromium and nickel contributes to resistance to oxidation, including in sour atmospheres, as well as carburization and nitriding . This is aided by an oxide layer formed in the open air.
The high strength of the alloy is ensured by controlling the content of titanium, aluminum and carbon.
In addition , austenitic steels are distinguished by:
– Excellent fatigue strength, at temperatures above 700 degrees.
– Metallurgical stability, during long-term operation at high temperatures.
Applications
Incoloy 800HT heat-resistant steels are widely used in the fuel and energy complex, chemical industry, and petrochemical production , heat treatment equipment, industrial furnaces and cooling systems.
