Steel AISI 314 / EN 1.4841 / 20Х25Н20С2
Heat-resistant stainless steel AISI 314 is designed for use in corrosive environments at high temperatures (up to 1150 degrees Celsius). It is characterized by high strength and resistance to fluidity. Resistant to corrosion of surface, crevice and point types.
Features
AISI 314 stainless steel contains chromium-nickel additives. This provides high resistance to oxidative processes under any operating conditions. The alloy retains its physical parameters over a wide temperature range.
This stainless steel (the price in our catalog is one of the most affordable) has high ductility and is easily welded using various methods. Please note that the seam requires additional processing.
Due to the tendency to form scale at critical temperatures, the alloy undergoes an additional hardening procedure at the factory.
Application
stamps are widely used. It is used in various industries and in construction. It is used to manufacture equipment for pyrolysis and methane conversion, high-temperature combustion chambers, conveyor elements, high-pressure pipelines.
Resistance to aggressive media has made steel one of the most popular materials in the petrochemical industry. The highest resistance to corrosion predetermined its use in marine shipbuilding.
