Electrical steel 2411 / M300-35A
Steel grade 2411 belongs to a sulfur isotropic alloy, with an irregular chemical composition, regulated by the manufacturer. Sheet metal can contain up to 96% iron and 2.8 to 3.8% silicon, which affects the magnetic properties of the steel.
Special properties
Significant silicon content ensures a high relative magnetic permeability in a weak and medium field, a decrease in eddy current losses, an increase in electrical resistivity, up to 0.5-109 Ohm/m and a decrease in alloy density up to 7650 kg/m3.
Steel 2411, from which cold-rolled strip and sheet are made, is an isotropic alloy with a granular non-oriented structure, characterized by the independence of magnetic characteristics from direction.
Produced in a heat-treated state for magnetic characteristics. It has a heat-resistant coating that does not affect the formability of the material.
Applications
Electrical steel, which can be bought in the form of a sheet or strip, with a thickness from 0.28 to 0.65 millimeters, widely used for the manufacture of various elements for the magnetic circuits of electric machines, various devices and other electrical equipment.
