Electrical steel 2214 / M470-50A
Steel grade 2214 is an electrical isotropic sulfur alloy with an unregulated chemical composition. The order of smelting and the chemical composition of the material is determined by the manufacturer.
Sheet metal contains up to 98% iron and 0.8 to 2.1% silicon, which affects the magnetic properties of the alloy.
Special properties
Cold-rolled 2214 steel is an isotropic alloy with a non-oriented grain structure that is independent of the direction of magnetic characteristics.
The moderate content of silicon in the composition provides a sufficient level of relative magnetic permeability in a weak and medium field, allowable eddy current losses, electrical resistivity, up to 0.25-109 Ohm/m and decrease in alloy density to 7750 kg/m3.
The low price per cold-rolled sheet is due to the availability of all components that make up the alloy.
The rolled products are delivered fully finished.
Applications
Considering special magnetic properties, electric steel trotechnical can be bought for the manufacture of various components of the magnetic circuits of devices, electric machines and other electrical equipment.
