Electrical steel 2211 / M530-50A
Cold-rolled sheet steel, grade 2211, refers to electrotechnical sulfur alloys, with a chemical composition not regulated by existing standards. The composition, as well as the order of smelting, is determined by the manufacturer. Contains from 0.8 to 1.8% silicon. The remaining share is iron.
Special properties
Thin sheet electrical steel, grade 2211, is produced in a heat-treated state for magnetic characteristics and without special coverage. At the request of the customer, it is supplied without heat treatment.
The alloy is an isotropic material with a non-oriented grain structure, characterized by independence of the direction of magnetic characteristics.
The low content of silicon ensures the density of the material, at the level of 7750 kg/m3, and electrical resistance up to 0.25-109 Ohm/m.
Steel sheet is produced with a thickness of 0.5 and 0.65 millimeters.
Applications
Low price of steel 2211, due to the lack of deficiency of its components of its composition, as well as unique electromagnetic properties, make it quite popular in the production of elements of magnetic circuits of electric machines, instruments and other electrical equipment.
