Electrical steel 2122 / M800-65A
Steel grade 2122 belongs to the group of electrical sulfur alloys. Its chemical composition is not regulated by existing standards and is determined by manufacturers. As a rule, a metal sheet contains up to 97% iron and, depending on the desired magnetic characteristics, from 0.8 to 1.8% silicon. Silicon also allows you to raise the level of electrical resistivity, reducing eddy current losses.
Special Properties
Cold rolled 2122 grade metal sheet is an isotropic material with a granular non-oriented structure, which is characterized by independent magnetic characteristics.
The alloy is produced in a heat-treated state for magnetic characteristics and without a special coating.
Distinguished by a low level of heat loss and a predisposition to precision stamping.
Applications
The availability of materials used for the production of the alloy ensures its low cost, and, therefore, , and demand. You can buy sheet metal or tape grade 2122 for the manufacture of various components of the magnetic circuits of electric machines, appliances and other electrical equipment.
