Bronze alloy BrNBT

Heat-resistant alloy BrNBT is a low-alloyed beryllium bronze. Its basis is copper, with a share reaching 98.35%. A feature of the alloy is a higher content of cobalt, nickel, chromium, silicon, and beryllium compared to similar materials.
Special Properties
The main forms of delivery are wire, sheet, strip, circle and bronze pipe.
The alloy is distinguished by high thermal and electrical conductivity, heat resistance.
BrNBT bronze is melted in air, in an induction furnace, at a temperature of 1200 degrees. Hot rolling is carried out at a temperature of 900-950 degrees.
The main advantage of the alloy is the ability to maintain its properties at temperatures up to 600-700 degrees. The price of a bronze sheet or circle also contributes to the demand for the material, since it fully corresponds to its properties.
Applications
The main area where sheets, rods or bronze wires are used is in the manufacture of electrodes used in the welding of high-temperature alloys and stainless steels, as well as machine components that perform butt and seam welding.
