Alloy 42NKhTYu

Steel 42NKhTYu is a precision precipitation hardening alloy with specified elasticity characteristics.

Heat-resistant steel has based on iron, whose share can reach 49.3%, and nickel, which is assigned up to 43.5%. To a much lesser extent, the material contains chromium, silicon, manganese, sulfur, titanium, aluminum, carbon and phosphorus.

Special properties

42NKhTYu has a tensile strength of 120 to 160 kgf/mm². Given the low temperature coefficient, you can buy stainless steel only for use in an environment whose temperature does not exceed +100 degrees. At the same time, temperature changes in the surface can affect the mechanical properties of the material. This is especially evident with sudden changes in temperature.

Applications

The alloy is delivered in precision pipes and fittings for them, shaped and rolled products, strip and wire.

Elastic and elastic-sensitive elements of various instruments and devices are made of steel, the operation of which does not provide for heating above 100 degrees. Alloy products are relevant in pharmaceuticals, instrument making, in the production of mechanisms with specified characteristics.
