Metal anodizing
The main reason for the loss of the original properties of metal products is the chemical interaction of their structure with oxygen. The result is a layer of corrosion that reduces strength. This problem needs to be addressed before it occurs. Especially for this, additional processing of parts is carried out. The procedure is performed by chemical oxidation. In technical standards, this procedure has another synonymous name – anodizing. The service is provided by our company. Processing methods
The oxide layer is applied to the metal using:
thermal technology;
electrochemical method;
chemical technology;
microarc machining.
When performing chemical oxidation, the quality of the process directly depends on the correct choice of the reagent. The procedure is performed using special equipment equipped with a separate camera. A certain temperature regime is maintained inside it, the choice of which depends on the type of materials used. As a rule, the use of an alkaline medium involves an increase in temperature up to 180 degrees, while an acidic medium reacts already at a temperature of 100 degrees Celsius. Thus, the first variant is characterized by an increased activation energy. After the processing procedure is over, the oxidized alloy must be washed and dried.
Electrochemical technology is, in fact, metal anodizing to order. During processing, a positive potential is distributed over the surface of oxidized materials. Thus, a dielectric layer is created, the structure of which is characterized by increased wear resistance.
The use of thermal technology is justified when a customer orders steel anodizing. Other materials, such as aluminum, will not work because they are damaged under such conditions. The choice of temperature range depends on which alloy should enter the chamber. On average, the temperature can vary between 300-1200 degrees Celsius. Processing is carried out in an acidic environment, or in water vapor.
The fourth technology, microarc oxidation, is not always singled out as a separate processing method. It is often combined with electrochemical processing. The difference between these methods lies in the principle of potential distribution over the treated surface. When using microarc technology, the dielectric outer layer makes up one third of the entire surface.
Features of the pricing policy
Often, customers think that if you need to ensure reliability, practicality and quality of the result, you will have to overpay. Actually, it is not. 1. The shape of the part. The more versatile it is, the more difficult the processing. Consequently, the cost of the procedure increases.

3. Order volume. Large customers – manufacturers, decorators and designers who have regular orders from their target audience, are additionally provided with discounts.
4. Declared processing time. All orders are executed within the general queue. But, as necessary, our company is ready to offer an accelerated procedure for processing metal surfaces for an additional fee.
Anodizing (anodic oxidation) is considered the cheapest processing method. After its completion, chemical oxidation is carried out separately. The cost of fulfilling the order is 20 rubles per kilogram.
The most expensive solution is microarc metal processing. The reason is the complexity of the process. Especially when it comes to the processing of products of non-standard shape. In this case, the formation of the cost is carried out on an individual basis, depending on the characteristics of a particular order.
